World of Glass Terms and Conditions
Delivery of Goods
Most orders are dispatched within 14 days, however for international orders please allow 28 days delivery. These delivery times are estimates only and the World of Glass does not accept responsibility for any delay incurred.
Orders are sent by Australian Post E-parcel service or Couriers on request. Freight charges are calculated on the basis of weight of goods and location of delivery. Freight charges will be calculated automatically at the payment section of the cart. However we reserve the right to amend and add postage or freight to an order if these charges have been calculated incorrectly whist taking phone orders or via our website cart.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Bankcard via a secure server using Paymate Australia . For international buyers we accept only direct deposit or Paypal.
For Australian customers we also accept Bpay, Post-Pay, Amex and Express pay (for payments made at Coles or selected newsagencies) via Stratapay Australia . We also offer COD via Australian post and accept direct deposit. For payments using these methods an invoice will be sent with payment details after the order has been processed.
Please note that all orders will not be processed until payment has cleared. Allow 5 working days for cheque or direct deposit clearance.
International Orders
For international orders freight charges in the payment section represent an estimated freight charge only. World of Glass reserves the right to apply any excess freight charges. If any excess charges need to be applied our sales department will confirm all freight charges before dispatch. All shipments are sent using Australian Air Mail.
Wholesale Orders & Special Orders
All wholesale orders must be paid for at the time of ordering. If the World of Glass commissions a artist for a special order then the client is responsible for paying for the order in full before the commission is started. No refunds apply to special orders. Under certain circumstances the World of Glass may at its discretion absorb any canceled commissions in to stock, however a 50% re-stocking fee will apply
Pricing and Product Information
All prices exclude GST and are listed in Australian Dollars. Other displayed International rates are calculated on the exchange rate with the Australian Dollar on the day the order is placed. World of Glass is not liable for variations in the quoted exchange rate to the rate imposed by your credit card company or bank. Transaction fees imposed by your credit card company are beyond our control. International purchases do not attract 10% Goods and Services Tax.
Colours
Because of the nature and uniqueness of our products we can not guarantee an exact match to the colours or patternation to the items shown in the pictures. We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on this Web site. However, because all our items are handmade by artists the colours and patterns can vary slightly.
The image you see will also depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase you may return it with the original packing receipt.
Venetian Masks
All our masks are imported directly from Venice and carry a certificate of authentication and a makers stamp.
Returns Policy
As our masks are wareable we generaly do not do not offer refunds unless the mask is faulty. However we will willingy exchange you mask.
If you are not fully satisfied you may return your purchase for a full refund or exchange. The return shipping charges are not refundable and must by paid by the customer.) You must return the merchandise to us within 30 days of receipt, and submit to the following guidelines:
- The article must not be damaged in any way
- The original receipt must accompany the goods
- A Return Authorisation(RA) must be obtained before sending the item or items back. Please do not send items back until the RA form has been obtained and completed
- We advise that items should be returned by registered post or insured. World of Glass will be responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in transit.
Either a refund or credit note will be issued within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods. All refunds will be made to your nominated bank within 14 days of return being accepted
